Core Natural Resources, Inc. (CNR)

Core Natural Resources is a major North American coal producer formed by the 2025 merger of Arch Resources and CONSOL Energy. It supplies metallurgical coal for steelmaking as well as thermal and industrial coal for power generation and other industrial uses. The company combines Arch’s metallurgical franchise with CONSOL’s industrial, power and marine-terminal strengths. Customers include steelmakers, utilities and industrial buyers in the U.S. and export markets.
