Texas Pacific Land Corporation (TPL)

Texas Pacific Land is one of the largest private landowners in Texas, with extensive surface and royalty interests concentrated in the Permian Basin. Revenue comes mainly from oil and gas royalties, water sales and related midstream services, plus land sales and easements—without operating wells as a traditional E&P company. Its model is asset-light on the drilling side and tied to activity and production on acreage it owns or over which it holds mineral interests.
